On November 17 and 18 FEUP held its first hands-on course on zero-defect manufacturing, condition monitoring and system integration. For each of the three learning outcomes, the theoretical fundamentals were explored, followed by a hands-on part, in which the students got the opportunity to apply practical solutions in the FEUP learning factory. The session also included an overview on the DINASORE framework. This tool was used in the application of the three learning outcomes, and developed at FEUP. The session had a participation of several students, researchers and industry professionals, from Portugal, Switzerland, Germany and Italy.
